Mindware Connections' Inaugural Western New York Physician Collaborative held at Irondequoit Country Club Tuesday evening focused on Physician Burnout and how Technology can help alleviate issues. Dr. Jeanne DelSignore spoke on the importance of embracing training on technology before using it. She also informed her colleagues that when you take the time to create templates within the Dragon Medical Software your efficiency will be maximized.

How Can Cognitive Computing Help Healthcare?
Posted by Julie - on Tue, May 23, 2017
Technology moves at a rapid pace, so it is no surprise that we are in an era of cognitive computing - hardware and/or software that simulates the functioning of the human brain.
According to IBM, Watson is “a technology platform that uses natural language processing and machine learning to reveal insights from unstructured data.” It actually reads and interprets text, discerns meaning, and gives inferences and responses. All of this allows experts to make more informed decisions.

Scribes for EMR? Dragon Medical can handle that!
Posted by Julie - on Tue, Apr 29, 2014
I just read an article on the benefits of hiring scribes to work with doctors in order to get their patient notes in an EMR - I was knocked off my chair. Of course, it was written by a CEO of a recruitment company, so I shouldn't be surprised someone trying to get people hired would try to convince providers they need someone to do their job for them.
