what you are going to say.
“Training! I don’t have time for training!”
However, the reality is, you don’t have time NOT to train!
Training is your friend… and here is why:

Why spend hours, sometimes days, trying to figure out how to use software, when it can be delivered in a simple and easily understood manner. With a good trainer, software settings will be set for your particular work environment giving you the proper tool for what you do. In addition, all of the practical information you need to use the software will be explained for your specific use.
2. There is so much more you don’t know, than what you know!
Software programs can be loaded with many functions you did not even know existed. I was recently trained in Photoshop and that software program is so extensive, three full days of training only touched a portion of what is available to the user.
Another software program many people can relate to is Excel. You could do an internet search and spend time weeding through multiple pages of information, to figure out its functions, only to find outdated information and confusing instructions. This is time consuming and tedious!
Just think about all the tips and tricks that you have learned on your smart phone and how many more are still there to learn.
3. Return on Investment
We all know the quote, "time is money". Proper training on software will save you time and easily give you a return on what you spent.
Subject matter experts will provide you with critical elements of a software program as well as teach you tips and tricks. Tips and tricks are the extras in the software program that make using it even more useful. For example, Dragon software allows users to say one short phrase to insert frequently used phrases that a user may repeat numerous times throughout the day. They are called shortcuts and are a huge time saver! Dragon has many other powerful features that many are not aware of or utilizing.
Training is an asset, because more knowledge is never a bad thing.
