1. CREATE YOUR WORKSPACE

Creating your own workspace is very important when you work from your home because there are so many distractions. The kids, the laundry, the home gym, are not present in an office environment and you may need some will power to stay away from the temptation to take care of other things. Set up your workspace where you will be free from distractions and make sure it is a quiet place, so you can make professional phone calls and do video conferencing without interruption. This will also give you a feeling of going to an office to work.

Dictate Text Anytime & Anywhere with Dragon Recorder

Dr. Joseph Gomez is definately NOT your average doctor!  He is audacious, resourceful and passionate about everything he does.  As a cardiologist for Geneva General Cardiology Associates, he is what makes things "tick"!  So when Dr. Gomez called us to see if he could use the Dragon Recorder Application with his Dragon Software, we knew we were about to embark on an meaningful adventure!

When I arrived at his Finger Lakes Health office, Dr. Gomez already had the Dragon Recorder application loaded on his iPhone.  He did a few short dictations, plugged the phone into his laptop and watched as the .wav files automatically appeared in iTunes.  I then instructed him how utilize the Transcribe option within Dragon Medical and his voice profile.  Simple.  Speaking instead of typing is so easy!

Trying to use Dragon Software without investing in one-on-one training is like putting a grill together without the instructions, you will feel like you have extra nuts and bolts, not knowing where they go and how to use them!  Many customers have tried to master using Dragon on their own, what they find is they can use the basics, maybe 5% of the capabilities.  Leaving them very limited and unproductive.
